Trump Warns Iran of Strike, Urges Hamas to Disarm

U.S. President Donald Trump has issued strong warnings to Iran and Hamas following a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, signaling a tougher stance on Middle East security issues. The meeting focused on Iran’s nuclear ambitions, the Gaza conflict, and broader regional stability, with Trump emphasizing that Washington would not hesitate to act if its red lines were crossed.

Speaking after the talks, Trump warned that the United States could support or carry out a military strike if Iran attempts to rebuild or expand its nuclear or ballistic missile programs. He claimed that U.S. intelligence agencies, along with Israeli counterparts, are closely monitoring Iranian activities. According to Trump, any serious move by Tehran to advance prohibited programs would be met with a swift and powerful response.

Trump also accused Iran of continuing destabilizing activities across the Middle East through allied groups. He said such actions threaten regional peace and undermine diplomatic efforts. While maintaining a hard tone, Trump added that he still believes a deal with Iran is possible if Tehran shows genuine willingness to abandon military ambitions and comply with international expectations.

On the Gaza situation, Trump directly addressed Hamas, urging the group to disarm as part of any sustainable ceasefire or peace arrangement. He said lasting peace cannot be achieved while armed militant groups continue to operate freely. Trump warned that refusal to disarm could result in renewed military action and increased pressure from both Israel and the United States.

Prime Minister Netanyahu supported Trump’s position, stating that Israel’s primary goal remains ensuring national security and preventing future attacks. Netanyahu said Israel is open to diplomatic solutions but stressed that security guarantees are essential. He added that disarmament of militant groups is a key requirement for long-term stability in Gaza.

The statements have drawn mixed reactions internationally, with Iran rejecting the accusations and denying any intention to pursue nuclear weapons. Meanwhile, analysts say Trump’s remarks reflect a more confrontational approach that could raise tensions in the region. As diplomatic efforts continue, the situation remains fragile, with security concerns dominating discussions among key regional and global players.
