Pakistan has strongly criticised the recent remarks made by India’s defence minister regarding Sindh, calling them irresponsible and provocative.
Officials in Islamabad said such statements reflect a hostile mindset that threatens regional peace.
The Foreign Office condemned the comments as an unacceptable interference in Pakistan’s internal affairs.
It added that India should focus on its own domestic challenges instead of making reckless claims about neighbouring countries.
Pakistan warned that these remarks further damage already strained bilateral relations.
Authorities emphasised that no foreign country has the right to comment on Pakistan’s territorial integrity.
Islamabad reiterated that the people of Sindh stand firmly with the federation and reject any divisive narratives.
The government said India’s attempt to create unrest through such rhetoric will never succeed.
The Foreign Office urged New Delhi to adopt a responsible approach in the interest of regional stability.
Pakistan also stressed that it remains committed to peaceful coexistence but will respond firmly to any provocation.
