Spain has unveiled a new $946 million aid package for Ukraine during President Volodymyr Zelenskiy’s visit to Madrid.
The announcement came after high-level meetings where Spanish leaders reaffirmed their commitment to supporting Ukraine’s defence efforts.
The package includes military equipment, ammunition, and resources aimed at strengthening Ukraine’s ability to resist ongoing Russian aggression.
Spain also stressed the importance of continued European unity, saying Ukraine’s security is vital for regional stability.
Zelenskiy thanked Spain for its support, calling the aid a crucial boost at a challenging moment in the war.
Officials from both nations agreed to deepen cooperation as the conflict continues to reshape Europe’s defence priorities.
