Former President Donald Trump has publicly urged House Republicans to vote in favor of releasing all unclassified files related to Jeffrey Epstein.
Trump stated that the party “should vote to release the Epstein files, because we have nothing to hide,” signaling a reversal from his earlier position.
The move comes as bipartisan support grows for legislation requiring the Department of Justice to publish Epstein investigation documents, while protecting victim identities.
Reps. Thomas Massie (R‑KY) and Ro Khanna (D‑CA) are leading the effort, aiming to increase transparency around the high-profile investigation.
Trump continued to describe broader scrutiny of Epstein’s case as a “Democrat Hoax,” though he now encourages the House vote to move forward.
The House vote could push the measure closer to final approval, though passage in the Senate and presidential sign-off remain uncertain.
