A powerful explosion shook the area near Tatta Pani Bazaar in Kotli, Azad Kashmir, on Sunday afternoon, according to police sources. The blast reportedly originated in a junkyard, causing significant panic among local residents.
Initial reports confirm that one person has died, while four others sustained injuries and were rushed to nearby hospitals for treatment. Authorities are currently investigating the cause and nature of the explosion, with preliminary inquiries underway to determine whether it was accidental or deliberate. Kotli’s Superintendent of Police stated that officials are examining the site and collecting evidence to assess the extent of the damage.
