Microsoft 365 And ChatGPT 5 Copilot Annual Subscription Free Now

Microsoft has announced a limited-time offer giving students a free annual subscription to Microsoft 365 Personal with ChatGPT 5 Copilot. This extends beyond the typical three-month student trial.

The offer is designed for students who have completed high school and are currently enrolled in undergraduate or postgraduate programs. Students not enrolled in a recognized degree course are not eligible. The free annual subscription provides full access to Microsoft 365 apps, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.

Copilot features are fully integrated into the apps, giving students AI-powered tools for tasks like Deep Research, Podcasts, Vision, and multimedia creation. The subscription also includes Microsoft’s image and video tools, offering advanced AI capabilities across the platform.

Microsoft allows the annual subscription to be activated on up to five devices simultaneously. The subscription is for individual use and cannot be shared. Students will also receive 1TB of cloud storage shared between OneDrive and Outlook.

The company shared details of the offer on X, stating that students can sign up immediately. However, the offer is only valid until November 30, 2025. After this date, new claims for the free annual subscription will no longer be accepted.

This initiative aligns with similar moves by Google, OpenAI, and Perplexity to support students with digital tools. Microsoft aims to help students enhance productivity, research, and creativity using AI features in Microsoft 365.

Experts say the free annual subscription could significantly benefit students, especially for remote learning and project-based assignments. By integrating AI into daily work, Microsoft is encouraging students to explore new ways to complete tasks efficiently.
