The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the national teams for the upcoming ODI series against Sri Lanka and the Tri-Nation T20 Series featuring Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Zimbabwe. Young batter Hassan Nawaz has not been included in either squad.
In its official statement, PCB confirmed that Hassan Nawaz has been left out of both the ODI fixtures and the T20 tournament. The ODI matches will be held at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium from November 11 to 15, while the T20 tri-series is scheduled from November 17 to 29 in Rawalpindi and Lahore.
Fakhar Zaman has replaced Hassan Nawaz in the T20 squad, while no substitute has been named for the ODI lineup. The board further stated that Hassan Nawaz has been released to participate in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy, with the seventh round commencing on November 11.
