PSL 11 to Feature Two Additional Teams, Confirms CEO Salman Naseer

Pakistan Super League (PSL) CEO Salman Naseer has announced that two new teams will join the league in its 11th season.

Speaking on the PSL podcast, Naseer said the sale process for the new franchises will begin in November, with strong interest expected from potential buyers. He added that franchise valuation terms were finalized in March, and the assessment process will be completed soon to determine market value and offers.

The CEO also revealed plans to host matches across six venues this season, including the newly built Imran Khan Stadium in Peshawar, which is close to completion but requires final upgrades to meet international standards.

Additionally, Faisalabad will be introduced as a new host city for the upcoming season, expanding the league’s reach and promoting cricket in more regions of Pakistan
