Sindh Declares Three Consecutive Holidays For Diwali Celebrations

The Sindh government has announced a three-day break for Hindu employees to mark Diwali celebrations. The holidays will run from October 19 to October 21, 2025.

According to the official notification from the Services, General Administration, and Coordination Department, the holidays are for Hindu employees working in government and semi-government departments, schools, colleges, universities, and local councils across Sindh.

Since October 19 is a weekly holiday, Hindu employees will effectively enjoy three consecutive days off. This will give them time to celebrate Diwali celebrations with family and friends.
