Pakistan cricket stars Babar Azam and Naseem Shah are all set to return to the national T20I squad after a brief break. Both players are expected to be part of the upcoming T20I series as the management looks to strengthen the team’s core ahead of next year’s major tournaments.

Babar Azam, who was rested in recent series, has been working on his strike rate and power-hitting skills to meet the team’s updated approach to the shorter format. The selectors believe his experience and calm batting style will bring balance back to the top order.

On the other hand, Naseem Shah has fully recovered from his previous fitness issues and impressed selectors with his pace and control during training sessions. The young fast bowler, who missed several T20Is due to workload management, is now ready to rejoin Pakistan’s pace attack alongside Shaheen Afridi and Haris Rauf.

Reports suggest that both players are in the final stages of assessment, and their return could be officially confirmed soon. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is confident that the inclusion of Babar and Naseem will boost the team’s chances in upcoming international series.

Cricket analysts say their comeback could mark a turning point for Pakistan’s T20 side, which has been experimenting with younger players in recent months. Fans have also welcomed the news, showing excitement on social media over the possible reunion of Pakistan’s star batter and young pacer.

If confirmed, this would be Babar’s first T20I appearance in several months and a much-awaited comeback for Naseem after his injury layoff.
