Complain filed on Maryam and Rana Sanaullah

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]LAHORE: According to news, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) filed an application on Tuesday to register a First Information Report (FIR) against PML-N Senior Vice President Maryam Nawaz and Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah, among others.

In the Race Course police station, a request has been made to the sessions court to register a FIR against Maryam, Sanaullah, Punjab Inspector General (IG) Usman Anwar, Lahore Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Siddique Kamyana, and others.

According to News, the police station refused to register the FIR, so the petitioner filed an application in court under Sections 22A and 22B.

According to the application, the Punjab IG conducted the police operation at PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s Zaman Park residence on the orders of Maryam and Sanaullah. “The four walls’ sanctity was violated,” it said.

Furthermore, the plea stated that the police had been asked to file a report on the incident but had refused. It asked the court to issue an order registering the case against the PML-N leaders and police officers.

Soon after Imran left for Islamabad to appear before a court, Punjab police stormed into the PTI chief’s house in Lahore, knocking down all barricades and doors to launch a’surprise’ search operation inside the property.

Cranes were seen breaking through the main gate of the Zaman Park residence as loyalists fought with officials outside in a protest camp.

The search warrants shared by police obtained under Section 47 of CrPC read, “investigating officer is directed to accompany a lady police officer not below the rank of inspector at the time of search of a requisite house in accordance with law”.

The police repressed PTI supporters as they attempted to enter the residence, which has remained a battleground between the PTI-led opposition and the PDM government.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
