Pakistan’s SUV market has been dominated by models like Kia Stonic, MG ZS, Peugeot 2008, and Hyundai Tucson, but Suzuki — the country’s oldest automaker known for hatchbacks such as Mehran and Alto — has been notably absent. That’s about to change as Suzuki Motor Company prepares to launch the sleek and modern Suzuki Fronx next year, aiming to make its mark in the compact SUV segment.
The Fronx, which will be locally assembled, is expected to be priced between Rs6–7 million, positioning it as a stylish yet affordable option. With its coupe-inspired roofline, bold LED headlamps, and futuristic design, the SUV is set to attract urban drivers looking for flair and performance.
Inside, the Fronx comes packed with features, including a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, and a head-up display in premium models. Internationally, it is powered by a 1.5L DUALJET petrol engine paired with mild hybrid technology, offering smooth performance and strong fuel efficiency.
Safety is also a priority, with dual airbags, ABS, ESP, 360-degree cameras, and advanced driver-assist systems available in higher trims, making the Fronx a strong new contender in Pakistan’s SUV lineup.
