Pakistan All-Rounder Secures Career Best ICC T20 Ranking

Pakistani cricket fans found some relief in the latest ICC T20 rankings despite the team’s mixed performance in the Asia Cup. A young All-Rounder from Pakistan achieved his career-best position, boosting confidence for the national side.

Saim Ayub, a 23-year-old left-hander, has broken into the top five in the ICC All-Rounder rankings. Widely regarded as one of Pakistan’s brightest prospects, Saim has built a reputation as a modern-day dual-threat player. His bowling has been particularly effective in the Asia Cup, where he currently sits second on the wicket-takers list.

Even though his batting form has dipped, Saim Ayub’s rise reflects his value as an All-Rounder who can contribute in multiple ways. His achievement has brought hope to fans looking for consistent performers in international cricket.

Other Pakistani players also saw changes in their rankings. Spinner Sufiyan Muqeen rose to 11th, while Abrar Ahmed climbed 11 places to reach 16th. However, Shaheen Afridi slipped to 27th, Mohammad Nawaz dropped to 33rd, and Haris Rauf fell to 37th.

In batting, Sahibzada Farhan made an impressive leap of 18 places to secure 55th, while Mohammad Haris entered the top 100 at 89th after moving up 22 spots. Meanwhile, Salman Ali Agha, Hassan Nawaz, and Fakhar Zaman faced declines due to limited contributions with the bat during the Asia Cup.

The rankings update shows Pakistan’s growing strength in spin bowling and the emergence of new talent. Saim Ayub’s success as an All-Rounder is seen as a promising sign for Pakistan’s future, especially at a time when the team is searching for balance and stability.
