Social media personality Samiya Hijab announced she forgave Hassan Zahid purely for the sake of Allah, clarifying that no monetary deal was involved.
In an interview, she stated: “I have proof through messages that I didn’t take any money. If I had, I’d be living happily today, but I chose forgiveness only for Allah.”
She shared that Hassan Zahid’s father personally visited her home to apologize, and she felt it was unfair for the whole family to suffer for his actions.
Samiya acknowledged her social media following declined after the controversy but said reconciliation was still a positive step. Calling it a victory for all women, she added that the experience has deeply affected her trust, and she may not be able to rely on anyone for the next three to four years.
