31 Indian-Backed Terrorists Eliminated In Security Operations Across KP

Pakistan’s military confirmed on Monday that 31 Indian-backed terrorists were killed during recent security operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operations took place on September 13 and 14 in Lakki Marwat and Bannu districts. These actions followed intelligence reports about the presence of militants linked to the Indian proxy group Fitna al-Khawarij.

In Lakki Marwat, security forces targeted a major hideout. Fourteen terrorists were killed after an intense exchange of fire. In Bannu district, another operation resulted in the deaths of 17 militants during heavy clashes, ISPR said.

The military added that the terrorists were involved in planning and carrying out attacks against civilians and security forces. Ongoing search and clearance missions are being conducted in both districts to eliminate any remaining threats. Hideouts used by the militants were also destroyed.

Earlier this month, security forces carried out multiple security operations in other parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. In Bajaur district, 22 TTP terrorists were neutralized during fierce fighting. In South Waziristan, another 13 militants were killed.

According to ISPR, twelve soldiers embraced martyrdom while defending the country during these encounters. Security personnel also recovered weapons and ammunition from the terrorists.

Officials said these security operations reflect Pakistan’s firm resolve to dismantle militant networks. The military remains committed to ensuring peace and stability in areas long affected by extremist violence.

The operations highlight the continued efforts of security forces to respond swiftly to threats. Analysts say these measures are crucial to maintaining law and order in the region.
