19 TTP Terrorists Killed In Security Operations Across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa witnessed a series of successful counter-terrorism operations as security forces killed 19 militants over September 9 and 10. The operations targeted Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) fighters, also referred to as Khwarij, across multiple districts.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), intelligence reports guided troops to a militant hideout in the Guluno area of Mohmand District. Security forces engaged the militants in a fierce gunfight, resulting in 14 deaths. The operation also recovered weapons and ammunition from the site.

In another operation in Datta Khel, North Waziristan District, four additional TTP militants were neutralized by the troops. A separate encounter in Bannu District led to the killing of one more militant, further disrupting terrorist networks in the province.

ISPR officials confirmed that sanitization operations are ongoing in all cleared areas to ensure no remaining TTP fighters pose a threat. The statement emphasized the determination of security forces to eliminate Indian-sponsored terrorism in the region.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s security authorities have repeatedly highlighted the importance of intelligence-based operations to prevent destabilizing activities. These recent actions demonstrate a coordinated effort to protect civilians and maintain law and order in the province.

The military continues to work closely with local authorities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to monitor high-risk areas and prevent the resurgence of TTP elements. Officials stressed that the operations are part of a broader strategy to ensure long-term peace and security for residents.

Authorities urge citizens to remain vigilant and report suspicious activity, while security forces pledge continued action against all militant groups attempting to disrupt stability in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
