In a statement shared on X, the prime minister conveyed Pakistan’s deepest sympathies and solidarity to the Amir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Qatari Royal Family, and the people of Qatar during this tragic moment.
Shehbaz stressed that Israel’s strike was completely unjustifiable and a blatant violation of Qatar’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. He described the attack as a reckless provocation with the potential to destabilize regional peace and security.
The prime minister emphasized that Pakistan firmly supports Qatar in the face of this aggression and also reiterated solidarity with the Palestinian people, who continue to suffer under Israeli hostilities. He called on the international community to take urgent notice of such actions that threaten not only human lives but also global stability.
