Six people in Karachi have died from rabies after dog bites between May and August, hospital officials confirmed. Three victims were treated at Jinnah Hospital and three at Korangi Trust Hospital.

This year, Sindh has recorded 14 rabies deaths — eight at Jinnah and six at Korangi. Authorities also reported over 22,000 dog bite cases across the province.

Health experts stress immediate first aid after a dog bite, including washing the wound with soap and water for 15 minutes, and completing the full anti-rabies vaccination course. They urge prompt medical attention to prevent fatal infections.

In previous data about these cases, Karachi Records 4,000 Dog Bite Cases in 25 Days
