[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]The district administration declared on Wednesday that all educational institutions would remain closed due to the city’s current law and order situation.

Lahore Commissioner Ali Randhawa also issued a notification to such effect.

“All public and private educational institutions in Garhi Shahu, Jail Road, Mall Road, and Mian Mir shall stay closed,” the statement stated.

The decision comes after police and PTI supporters clashed outside Imran Khan’s mansion in Zaman Park on Tuesday, causing school vans, ambulances, and members of the general public to become stranded in various parts of the provincial capital.
