Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan Outline Partnership for Blockchain and Crypto Development

Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan are strengthening ties in digital finance following a high-level virtual meeting focused on collaboration in cryptocurrency and blockchain technologies.

Minister of State for Crypto and Blockchain, Bilal bin Saqib, held in-depth talks with Farkhat Iminov, Director of Kyrgyzstan’s National Investment Agency, to explore joint opportunities and deepen bilateral cooperation in the growing virtual assets sector.

Both countries expressed a strong interest in sharing expertise, regulatory approaches, and institutional knowledge. Officials emphasized the value of cross-border collaboration in building secure, innovative digital asset frameworks.

Bilal bin Saqib highlighted Pakistan’s readiness to partner with Kyrgyzstan, citing vast potential to co-develop progressive policies and support innovation in the crypto industry. He also noted Pakistan’s expanding digital economy and the importance of regional alignment in blockchain efforts.

Iminov supported the idea, suggesting a formal Memorandum of Cooperation to create a structured platform for ongoing collaboration, stressing both countries’ shared vision for advancing virtual finance.

The meeting concluded with a mutual commitment to continued dialogue and practical cooperation, underscoring a significant step forward in regional blockchain and digital finance development.
