A horrifying triple murder shook the village of Asadullahpur near Phalia, where a man allegedly shot and killed his parents and wife over a land dispute. The suspect, Ehsanullah, had recently returned from Kuwait. Instead of a warm reunion, tragedy struck when he reportedly demanded a share in Rs. 20 million from the sale of 4 kanals of family land.
When his demand was refused, Ehsanullah allegedly opened fire with a pistol, killing his 75-year-old father Muhammad Hussain, 70-year-old mother Rasoolan Bibi, and 35-year-old wife Maria Bibi. The brutal act shocked the local community.
After committing the crime, Ehsanullah fled the scene with the weapon. Police launched a major search operation and sealed off the area. The victims’ bodies were sent to THQ Hospital Phalia for autopsy, while forensic teams collected evidence from the scene. An FIR has been registered.
District Police Officer Waseem Riaz Khan visited the scene and ordered swift action. Punjab IGP Dr. Usman Anwar took notice of the incident, directing authorities to ensure the arrest of the suspect and provide full legal support to the grieving family.
