Iranian President Pezeshkian’s Visit To Pakistan Has Been Postponed

The planned visit of Iranian President Pezeshkian to Pakistan has been postponed, officials from both countries confirmed. The trip, initially scheduled for this week, will be rescheduled with new dates to be decided soon.

Pakistan’s Foreign Office said it remains in close contact with Iranian officials to finalize the revised itinerary. An official announcement about the new visit dates is expected shortly.

Separately, during a recent speech at Iran’s Foreign Ministry, Pezeshkian addressed the severe humanitarian crisis in Gaza. He expressed deep sorrow and frustration over the ongoing suffering of Palestinians.

“I can’t bear the situation in Gaza,” said Pezeshkian, criticizing European countries and human rights defenders for their silence. He questioned what actions they have taken to alleviate Gaza’s hardships.

Pezeshkian also praised the unity of the Iranian people during the “12-day war” against Israel. He said, “The Iranian nation has set a great example of unity and consensus. No power can defeat a united Iranian nation.”

The postponement of Pezeshkian’s visit comes at a time of heightened regional tension and international concern over Gaza’s worsening conditions. Both Pakistan and Iran have expressed their desire to maintain strong diplomatic relations.

Officials are working to confirm a new date for Pezeshkian’s visit. The two countries expect to continue discussions on bilateral cooperation and regional issues once the visit is rescheduled.

Further updates about Pezeshkian’s trip will be shared after the official schedule is announced.
