Pakistan’s Olympic star Arshad Nadeem has taken an important step toward returning to competition. He recently underwent successful calf muscle surgery in Cambridge, UK, to repair partial muscle damage.

The 28-year-old athlete was treated by specialist Dr. Ali Bajwa. The surgery aimed to prevent more serious injury in the future.

This injury forced Arshad to withdraw from an international event in Switzerland earlier this month. His team chose a cautious approach to protect his career and allow proper healing.

Coach Salman Iqbal Butt and the rehab team reported that the surgery went smoothly. Rehabilitation and physiotherapy will start soon, with hopes of an earlier return to light training.

Arshad recently won gold at the Asian Athletics Championship with an impressive 86.40-metre throw. This injury setback comes shortly after that achievement.

If recovery goes well, Arshad could compete at the World Athletics Championships in September. For now, his focus remains on healing, but his resilience suggests he will be back strong soon.Arshad Nadeem’s determination and talent continue to inspire fans, as he works toward a full comeback in international athletics.
