Many newcomers are enrolling in cardio programs, strength training, and even mixed martial arts, aiming to build stamina, reduce stress, and stay in shape. Trainers say the trend reflects increased awareness of the importance of preventive health.

However, experts stress that exercise alone is not enough. Gym coach Bilal Khan and fitness center owner Umar Ahmed both highlighted the importance of pairing workouts with disciplined eating habits. “True fitness comes from what you eat as much as how you train,” said Ahmed.
Despite the challenge of giving up rich and unhealthy foods, trainers remind members that maintaining good health often requires personal sacrifices. As the old saying goes, if health is lost, everything is lost—making discipline and lifestyle changes essential.
