On the occasion of US Independence Day, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised former US President Donald Trump for his role in promoting peace. In a statement, PM Shehbaz called Trump a “man of peace” for helping to bring about a ceasefire between Pakistan and India.

According to the Prime Minister, the ceasefire was a major step forward for South Asia. The region has faced decades of conflict, and the move was seen as progress toward lasting peace. PM Shehbaz said that Trump’s efforts helped reduce tensions and allowed both countries to move toward dialogue.

He also thanked several Middle Eastern nations for supporting the peace initiative. The Prime Minister credited Trump for bringing together different countries to work for a common cause—peace in the region.

PM Shehbaz Sharif stressed the importance of diplomacy and mutual understanding in resolving conflicts. He said that peace talks are the only way to achieve long-term stability in South Asia.

The Prime Minister also highlighted the shared democratic values between Pakistan and the United States. He said both countries could work together for economic growth and a safer world.

Shehbaz Sharif noted that peace is not just a regional issue. It is important for global progress, trade, and development. He added that Pakistan will always support international efforts for peace and stability.

The statement came at a time when the world is facing growing tensions. PM Shehbaz’s remarks were seen as a message of cooperation and hope.

By calling Trump a “man of peace,” the Prime Minister acknowledged his role in global diplomacy. He said Pakistan looks forward to working with the United States to build a peaceful future based on trust, respect, and collaboration.

PM Shehbaz’s remarks come as Trump remains active on global issues. Recently, he warned of imposing 30–35% tariffs on Japan amid stalled trade talks, reflecting his continued tough stance on trade.
