Former US President Donald Trump has officially announced a ceasefire agreement between Iran and Israel, signaling what he described as the conclusion of a brief but highly volatile conflict in the Middle East. The truce, which will come into effect in approximately six hours, is scheduled to last for 12 hours—after which, Trump declared, “the War will be considered, ENDED!”
In a characteristically emphatic statement posted late Monday, Trump said, “CONGRATULATIONS TO EVERYONE! It has been fully agreed by and between Israel and Iran that there will be a Complete and Total CEASEFIRE.” He added that both sides will carry out their final military operations before the ceasefire officially begins.

Trump referred to the confrontation as “THE 12 DAY WAR,” crediting the leadership of both countries for preventing a wider catastrophe. “This is a War that could have gone on for years, and destroyed the entire Middle East, but it didn’t, and never will!” he said.
He praised the “Stamina, Courage, and Intelligence” of both nations for agreeing to end the hostilities and offered blessings not only to Israel and Iran, but also to the entire region and the world. The declaration has sparked cautious optimism across diplomatic circles, though analysts warn that the coming hours will be critical in determining the durability of the truce.
