Tensions in the Middle East have surged once again as fresh missile sirens echoed across several Israeli cities, including Tel Aviv, Ashkelon, and areas near West Jerusalem. The latest wave of attacks reportedly involved a mix of missiles and drones launched by Iran, further intensifying the already volatile situation.
According to Iranian media, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has claimed responsibility for the assault. In a statement cited by Tasnim news agency, the IRGC detailed the use of both solid and liquid fuel missiles, along with advanced tactics aimed at breaching Israel’s air defense systems. The strikes reportedly targeted key areas such as Safad, Ashdod, and Beisan.

Eyewitnesses in Israel and the occupied West Bank described prolonged air raid sirens and loud explosions that lasted nearly 35 minutes, underscoring the scale of the attack. Israeli military sources have confirmed multiple missile impacts but have refrained from disclosing the exact targets due to military censorship laws.
This escalation is seen as part of Iran’s ongoing retaliation for Israel’s June 13 airstrike on its nuclear facilities. Since then, Tehran has reportedly fired around 450 ballistic missiles at Israeli territory—marking one of the most intense phases of conflict in recent years.
