Islamabad police have arrested the suspect responsible for the murder of young TikToker Sana Yousaf, officials confirmed. The arrest followed a late-night operation aided by technical tools and detailed CCTV footage analysis from multiple locations.
The accused, originally from Punjab, had a prior connection with Sana Yousaf, indicating the killing stemmed from a personal grudge. Authorities also recovered the murder weapon from the suspect’s possession. The investigation remains ongoing as police continue to examine evidence.

Meanwhile, Sana Yousaf’s body was sent to her hometown in Upper Chitral for final rites. Law enforcement has widened the inquiry by collecting footage from surveillance cameras across G-13 and the Islamabad Safe City system along the Expressway to track the suspect’s movements before and after the crime.
A formal case was registered at Sumbal Police Station based on a complaint from the victim’s mother. The police are committed to pursuing justice while further probing the circumstances surrounding this tragic incident.
