PM Shehbaz Warns Modi ‘If You Dare Attack Again, Everything Remaining Will Be Destroyed’

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif issued a strong warning to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday, declaring that if India dared to launch another attack, “whatever is left will also be destroyed.”

During his visit to the Pasrur military cantonment near Sialkot, PM Shehbaz was briefed on the armed forces’ operational readiness. He was accompanied by key cabinet members including Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal, and Information Minister Atta Tarar. Chief of Army Staff Gen Asim Munir and Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Babar Sidhu were also present.

Condemnation of India’s Actions

PM Shehbaz condemned India for initiating aggression based on “lies, arrogance, and ego.” He stated that despite Pakistan’s offer to investigate the incidents, India deliberately chose hostility. The prime minister described the attacks on innocent civilians—including children, women, and the elderly—as shameful violations of international laws and ethics, criticizing India’s labeling of civilians as terrorists.

Tribute to Pakistan’s Armed Forces

He praised the swift response of Pakistan’s armed forces, asserting that their actions would be remembered in history for thwarting the aggression and bringing honour to the nation. “Our martyrs have always brought honour to the nation and will continue to do so,” he said, commending the leadership of the Chairman Joint Chiefs, Army Chief, Air Chief, and Naval Chief.

PM Shehbaz specifically lauded Gen Asim Munir’s wise planning during the conflict and emphasized that the military chiefs have become “the pride of the nation,” boosting morale and leaving the enemy in disarray.

Warning on Water Security and Terrorism

The prime minister issued a stern warning against tampering with Pakistan’s water resources, calling it a “red line.” He reminded India of its past support for the Mukti Bahini in 1971 and linked recent incidents, including the Jaffar Express attack, to terrorist groups allegedly backed by India. PM Shehbaz vowed to eliminate terrorism decisively, questioning how Kulbhushan Jadhav reached Balochistan.

Peaceful Intentions but Preparedness for War

PM Shehbaz declared, “We seek peace but are prepared for war.” He criticized India’s alleged night-time attacks, calling them “thief in the dark” tactics, and warned of devastating consequences if such actions were repeated. The prime minister underscored Pakistan’s readiness to retaliate strongly, citing an instance where India attempted to damage the Neelum-Jhelum Dam and Pakistan’s potential response to demolish Indian dams if provoked.

He concluded with a message to India: “We are ready for both war and peace — the choice is yours.”
