May 9 Incident Court Approves Police Request for Imran Khan’s Polygraph Test

A Lahore anti-terrorism court (ATC) has granted police permission to interrogate Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan in jail in connection with 12 cases related to the events of May 9. The court, in a reserved verdict announced by Judge Manzar Ali Gul, also approved the use of a polygraph (lie detector) and photogrammetric test for the former prime minister. These tests were requested by the prosecution and accepted by the court.

The court has directed the police to submit the investigation report by May 26.

Meanwhile, Imran Khan met with his three sisters—Aleema Khan, Uzma Khanum, and Noreen Khanum—and three members of his legal team, including party chairman Barrister Gohar, at Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi on Tuesday. Additionally, Bushra Bibi was visited by her sister-in-law, Mehrun Nisa Ahmed.
