The United States has announced new sanctions targeting six individuals and twelve entities linked to Iran and China. The US Treasury Department stated that the sanctions focus on companies involved in manufacturing components for Iran’s ballistic missile program. The goal is to prevent Iran from acquiring parts for ballistic missiles and drones. Organizations overseeing Iran’s missile program are also included in the sanctions.

Separately, US President Donald Trump announced that Qatar Airways has placed an order for 160 Boeing aircraft. Speaking during a media interaction in Doha, President Trump revealed that the aviation agreement exceeds $200 billion. He described the deal as a reflection of growing bilateral relations between Qatar and the United States, noting that the relationship has reached new heights.
