UAE Airlines Resume Operations Following Pakistan-India Ceasefire Agreement

Following a four-day conflict and the subsequent ceasefire between Pakistan and India, major UAE airlines have resumed flight operations to both nations and issued updated schedules.

In the early hours of May 11, 2025, Emirates, Etihad Airways, and Air Arabia confirmed the partial restoration of their services to Pakistan, contingent on evolving conditions.

The Pakistan Airport Authority (PAA) confirmed the reopening of national airspace through an official statement and a revised Notice to Airmen (NOTAM).

“All airports across Pakistan have returned to standard operations. Passengers should consult their airlines for the latest schedule updates,” said a PAA spokesperson.

Flight Resumptions:

  • Emirates resumed flights to Karachi, Sialkot, and Lahore on May 11, Islamabad on May 12, and Peshawar on May 13.
  • Etihad Airways restarted services between Abu Dhabi and major Pakistani cities, expecting full normalization by May 12.
  • Fly Dubai resumed routes to Islamabad, Karachi, and Lahore.
  • Air Arabia also resumed its Pakistan operations, urging travelers to verify flight statuses via official channels.
