Chinese State Media Highlights Pakistan’s Successful Strikes Inside India

Pakistan Launches Major Military Operation, Code-named ‘Operation Bunyanun Marsoos’, Targeting Indian Military Installations

Pakistan has officially launched a major military operation, named Operation Bunyanun Marsoos (meaning “Concrete Structure”), targeting multiple high-value military installations across India. This operation is reportedly in response to ongoing Indian provocations, according to official sources.

Chinese state media confirmed the operation in a report by Global Times, citing Xinhua, stating that Pakistan began active engagements on Saturday, with one of the first targets being the BrahMos missile storage facility in Beas, which was destroyed during the opening wave of the strikes.

The operation marks a significant escalation in tensions between the two nuclear-armed neighbors, drawing widespread international attention due to the scale and precision of the military action.

Despite numerous reports of damage across Punjab, Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Occupied Jammu & Kashmir, the Indian government has yet to issue a formal response to the operation.

Chinese media highlighted the comprehensive nature of Operation Bunyanun Marsoos, indicating that advanced missile and surveillance systems were used, with multiple targets in northern India either destroyed or heavily damaged. The use of the Arabic phrase “Bunyan-um-Marsoos” signifies not only a military objective but also a symbolic message of strength and unity from Pakistan’s armed forces.

The operation comes at a time of growing regional instability, with increasing concerns from international observers who are urging both sides to exercise restraint. The coverage by Global Times underscores China’s interest in South Asian developments, especially considering Beijing’s broader strategic interests in the region.
