In response to an earlier missile attack by India, Pakistan’s military has destroyed an Indian brigade headquarters and downed two Indian fighter jets.

According to Pakistani military officials, all Pakistani aircraft remain safe and the country’s airspace is fully secured. Key Indian military sites, including the brigade headquarters, were struck with precision as part of Pakistan’s retaliation, which it described as a response to India’s “cowardly” missile strikes.

The Indian strikes had targeted areas in Pakistan such as Kotli, Muzaffarabad, Ahmedpur Sharqia Bagh, and Muridke. Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, Director General of ISPR, confirmed the locations and denounced India’s actions, promising a strong and measured response.

This latest round of hostilities has significantly heightened tensions between the nuclear-armed neighbors, both of whom have exchanged military attacks in recent days. Pakistan’s military reiterated its commitment to defend its territory and respond decisively to any future aggression.

As the conflict escalates, the global community is keeping a close watch, urging restraint while both nations remain on high alert.
