KARACHI – In a notable shift in Pakistan’s auto market, Kia Lucky Motor Corporation (KLMC) has increased the price of its Picanto AT variant by Rs90,000, while simultaneously announcing a major price cut on its Sportage L SUV models.
Kia Picanto AT Price Increased

Known for its compact design and stylish appeal, the Picanto was one of the first non-Suzuki hatchbacks to gain significant traction in the local market. However, it has also drawn criticism for low fuel efficiency, cramped interior space, and long delivery times. Despite these drawbacks, it remains a go-to option for city drivers seeking an affordable automatic hatchback.
Customers who booked and paid in full by April 30 will be charged the old price, while new bookings from May 1 onwards will follow the revised rate.
Kia Sportage L Sees Major Price Drop
In contrast, KLMC has announced a massive price reduction of up to Rs1.85 million for its Sportage L models, effective from May 1, 2025. The move is aimed at boosting sales and enhancing competitiveness in Pakistan’s increasingly crowded SUV segment.
These discounted prices will be available for a limited time and subject to stock availability, offering potential SUV buyers a significant opportunity to save.
This pricing shuffle comes as Kia looks to balance its product offerings amidst economic challenges and consumer demand shifts in the local automotive industry.
