Pakistan Prepares for Potential Indian Military Strikes Within 36 Hours, Vows Decisive Response

ISLAMABAD – The Pakistani government has voiced serious concerns over what it describes as reliable intelligence indicating that India may be planning a military strike within the next 24 to 36 hours.

Information Minister Attaullah Tarar stated that the potential action is being justified by unverified and fabricated allegations linking Pakistan to the recent Pahalgam incident. He condemned India’s unilateral posture, accusing New Delhi of acting as “judge, jury, and executioner” in the region, and warned that such behavior is reckless and threatens regional stability.

Pakistan reiterated its consistent stance against terrorism, highlighting its own long-standing experience as a victim of such violence. The government emphasized its global commitment to condemning terrorism in all forms.

To promote transparency and peace, Pakistan had proposed an independent investigation by a neutral panel of experts into the Pahalgam incident. However, officials expressed disappointment over India’s refusal to support this initiative, interpreting it as a preference for confrontation rather than reasoned dialogue.

The government’s statement also questioned India’s motives, suggesting that strategic decisions driven by emotional public sentiment may be aimed at political advantage. Pakistan issued a firm warning that any Indian military aggression will receive a “swift and decisive” retaliation.

Calling on the international community to pay attention to the rising tensions, Pakistan placed full responsibility for any potential conflict and its outcomes on India. The government affirmed its commitment to protecting national sovereignty and territorial integrity, stating that the country stands united and fully prepared to defend itself against any threats.
