Lahore Unveils Traffic Plan Ahead of PSL 2025 Matches

As the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2025 gears up for action in Lahore, local traffic authorities have announced a detailed plan to maintain smooth traffic flow during the tournament, which begins on April 24.

Officials confirmed that no major road closures will occur. Instead, brief and strategic traffic interruptions will facilitate secure team movements between hotels and Gaddafi Stadium, the venue for all Lahore-based matches.

Given the 7:00pm start time for day-night fixtures and concerns over school-hour congestion, the administration has taken proactive measures. Roads like Mall Road, Jail Road, Canal Road, Gulberg Road, and Main Boulevard will remain fully accessible, with minimal disruption.

To further ease traffic in the stadium’s vicinity, school timings nearby have been revised. From April 24 to May 18, schools will operate from 7:00am to 12:00pm, avoiding overlap with pre-match commutes.

The city is preparing to welcome cricket fans with excitement, as Lahore Qalandars take on Peshawar Zalmi in the opening match, leading up to the grand finale on May 18 at Gaddafi Stadium.
