Popular YouTuber Ducky Bhai has publicly backed fellow content creator Rajab Butt, who is facing heavy criticism and legal trouble over his newly launched perfume, ‘295’. Rajab Butt, with over six million subscribers on YouTube, has come under fire for allegedly referencing Pakistan’s blasphemy laws with the perfume’s name, which many claim alludes to Sections 295-A and 295-C of the Pakistan Penal Code.
The backlash resulted in an FIR being filed against Rajab Butt in Lahore, citing the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) and accusing him of hurting religious sentiments. In response, Rajab Butt performed Umrah and issued an apology, stating he had no intention of offending anyone and reaffirmed his devotion to Islam.
