According to Rockstar, pre-orders for GTA 6 will begin on June 25. Fans will be able to reserve their copies through digital storefronts, including the PlayStation Store, as well as select physical retailers. The game is currently scheduled to launch on November 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles.
The announcement has sparked renewed excitement among gamers around the world. Many fans have been waiting more than a decade for a new entry in the iconic franchise, with Grand Theft Auto V having launched back in 2013. Since then, GTA V has become one of the best-selling and most successful video games of all time.
Alongside the pre-order announcement, Rockstar released the official cover art through a promotional video. The artwork highlights the game’s two main protagonists, Lucia and Jason, offering fans another glimpse of the characters who will lead the story in the next chapter of the franchise.
The cover also showcases the game’s setting, the fictional state of Leonida, which draws heavy inspiration from Florida. The artwork features familiar elements such as sports cars, helicopters, motorcycles, alligators, and flamingos, reflecting the series’ signature blend of action, crime, and open-world exploration.
One key detail remains unknown: the game’s price. Rockstar has not yet revealed how much GTA 6 will cost, leading to ongoing speculation that it could become one of the most expensive mainstream game releases to date.
