Shehbaz Sharif Set for Three-Day Visit to Saudi Arabia

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will embark on a three-day official visit to Saudi Arabia on Tuesday, aiming to enhance bilateral relations and economic cooperation. The visit is part of Pakistan’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its ties with the Kingdom and attract increased investments.

A statement from Foreign Office Spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan confirmed that the prime minister will be in Saudi Arabia from March 19 to March 22. Shehbaz will be joined by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, alongside key federal ministers and senior officials.

The highlight of the visit will be a meeting between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. The discussions are expected to focus on boosting trade, investment, and cooperation in multiple sectors.

In addition to economic matters, the two leaders are anticipated to exchange views on critical regional and global developments, including the situation in the Middle East, with a special focus on Palestine.
