Thailand Introduces E-Visa System for Pakistani Travelers
Pakistani travelers planning a trip to Thailand can now apply for their visas online, as the Thai government has officially launched an e-visa system, eliminating the need to visit the embassy.
Under the new system, Pakistani citizens can apply for tourist, transit, and non-immigrant visas digitally, with a processing time of up to 14 working days. However, travelers must carry a printed copy of their e-visa when boarding their flight, as digital copies will not be accepted.

Important Guidelines for Applicants
- Genuine Documents Required: Applicants must submit authentic documents, including airline tickets and hotel bookings.
- Strict Verification: The submission of fake documents will result in an immediate visa rejection, and the applicant or their travel agent may be blacklisted.
- Residency Proof: Pakistani citizens must remain physically present in the country throughout the e-visa application process. To verify residency, applicants must upload supporting documents such as rent agreements, utility bills, or Pakistan immigration stamps.
The introduction of the e-visa system aims to simplify the travel process for Pakistani citizens, making it more convenient and efficient.
