Siblings Recognized for Powerful Advocacy
The young activists gained international recognition for their blood-written protest notes, shedding light on the plight of Gazan children. Their campaign, launched in June 2024, coincided with the International Day of Innocent Children Victims of Aggression (June 4) and involved petitions sent to global platforms, including the UN.
Dr. Zaid publicly declared the siblings as his own children, standing alongside his five biological children. Their father and mentor, Prof. Dr. Aurangzeb Hafi, quoted the ambassador as saying that Palestine “owns” these children, their petitions, and their advocacy efforts.
Call for Global Intervention
The event also addressed pressing humanitarian concerns, including the urgent need to protect and rehabilitate orphaned and amputee children from Gaza. Dr. Zaid discussed potential solutions with Prof. Hafi, stressing the need for global intervention to support these young victims.
The siblings recently revived their ‘Voice for the Voiceless’ campaign, advocating for the rights of Palestinian amputee children in the wake of the Gaza ceasefire.
Youngest-Ever Activists to Champion Palestinian Rights
Their blood-written letters and public appeals have been ranked among the most impactful global advocacy efforts, earning official recognition from Palestinian authorities. Their story has inspired a worldwide movement, proving that even the youngest voices can spark change in the fight for justice and humanity.
