The Walled City Authority has announced the return of its popular History By Night tour. The program will resume for tourists from September 12.
The nighttime tour will offer residents and visitors a chance to explore the historic side of Lahore. It will provide a different way to experience the city’s cultural and architectural heritage.
The authority has also revised the tour fee. The ticket price has been increased from Rs2,500 to Rs2,800. Visitors will need to pay the new amount to join the experience.
The History By Night tour will cover several important historical locations. Participants will get an opportunity to enjoy views of Hazuri Bagh during the evening.
The tour will also feature the famous Badshahi Mosque and Lahore Fort. Both sites are among the most important landmarks in the city. Their inclusion will give visitors a closer look at Lahore’s Mughal-era heritage.
Another major attraction will be the world’s largest picture wall. Visitors will be able to view the artwork as part of the nighttime itinerary.
The program will also include a visit to Jahangir Quadrangle. Guests will then explore Diwan-e-Khas, an important historical section of the complex.
A musical performance will be arranged at Diwan-e-Khas for tour participants. The performance will add an entertainment element to the historical visit.
The itinerary also includes Pine Garden and the historic Sheesh Mahal. Visitors will further get the opportunity to see the royal kitchen.
Special dramatic performances will be staged during the tour. These performances will focus on the history and culture of the Mughal period.
