Samsung has confirmed that its new One UI 7.0, based on Android 15, will begin rolling out in early April 2025. The update will debut on the Galaxy S24 series, with older flagship and mid-range models—such as the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Galaxy A55—following later.
One UI 7.0 entered beta testing for the Galaxy S24 series in December 2024, with multiple updates already released. The delay in the stable rollout is attributed to a complete software overhaul, as the interface has been rebuilt from scratch, and the integration of advanced AI-powered features that require robust, cloud-based infrastructure to support millions of devices. Samsung has not yet disclosed which of these AI features will be available on its older models.

The new interface brings a major design refresh, including a redesigned Quick Panel with updated iconography and smoother animations for improved responsiveness during navigation. A new feature called the Now Bar will display ongoing activities to enhance multitasking efficiency. Additionally, the Camera app has been reworked for easier one-handed use, and a new battery icon along with refreshed charging animations gives the system a modernized look.
Samsung is prioritizing stability, optimization, and AI-driven enhancements with One UI 7.0, beginning with the Galaxy S24 series and extending the update to other devices in the coming months.
