PAF Flypast Kicks off Champions Trophy 2025 in Karachi

The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 kicked off in Karachi with a spectacular Pakistan Air Force (PAF) aerobatic display by the Sherdil Squadron. The show featured Karakoram-8 aircraft, JF-17 Thunder, and F-16 fighter jets performing intricate maneuvers.

Pakistan won the toss and opted to bowl first against New Zealand at the National Bank Stadium. Cricket analysts predict a 56% chance of victory for the home team.

President Asif Ali Zardari attended as the chief guest, with PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi also present. Airspace was temporarily restricted for the PAF flypast, marking the first such display at a Champions Trophy opening.
