Gold prices hit a record high in Pakistan’s domestic market on Saturday, driven by global price surges.
According to data from the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, per tola gold rose by Rs400 to reach Rs292,200, while 10-gram gold increased by Rs343, settling at Rs250,514.

In the international market, gold prices also climbed, with per ounce rates rising by $5 to close at $2,797.
On Friday, gold prices had already surged significantly, with per tola gold increasing by Rs1,600 to Rs290,300 and 10-gram gold rising by Rs1,372 to Rs248,885.
