By evening or night, light rain and snowfall are expected in western Balochistan and upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The PMD noted that continental air is influencing most regions, but a weak westerly wave is likely to impact the upper and western areas later tonight.

Over the past 24 hours, the country remained cold and dry. Light rain occurred in northern Balochistan, Kashmir, Murree, and Galiyat, with Murree receiving one inch of snow.

Fog persisted across Punjab, and the lowest temperatures were recorded in Leh (-11°C), Skardu (-9°C), and Ziarat (-7°C).

Residents are advised to stay prepared for ongoing cold weather and possible travel disruptions due to fog and snowfall, especially in mountainous and fog-prone areas.
