An earthquake of magnitude 6.2 on the Richter scale shook the federal capital Islamabad and neighbouring areas on Thursday morning. The Seismological Center reports that because of how powerful the earthquake was, many individuals were forced to leave their homes while saying the Kalma-e-Tayyaba.

The Seismological Center added that the earthquake’s 60-kilometer depth epicentre was in Tajikistan’s border region. According to early reports, Abbottabad and Malakand experienced tremors as well.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
