Lenovo Legion Go S and Legion Glasses 2 Leaked Before Official Launch

Leaked Renders Reveal Lenovo Legion Go S Handheld Gaming PC and Legion Glasses 2

Earlier this month, the upcoming Lenovo Legion Go S handheld gaming PC was leaked, and new renders have now surfaced, offering a closer look at its design and features. The Legion Go S appears to be a more compact version of last year’s Legion Go, with notable changes to its hardware and functionality.

Unlike its predecessor, the Go S features a smaller screen and does not have the detachable controllers that were a signature feature of the original Legion Go. Instead, the device is equipped with 18 physical buttons, dual front-facing speakers, rear-facing fans for cooling, and two USB-C ports on the top edge for convenience.

In terms of performance, the Legion Go S is powered by AMD’s Ryzen Z2 chipset, which utilizes Zen 3-plus cores. While this marks a step down from the Zen 4 cores found in the original Legion Go and other competing devices like the Asus ROG Ally, it positions the Go S as a more affordable and compact alternative in the handheld gaming market, competing directly with popular systems like the Steam Deck.

Additionally, leaked images of Lenovo’s Legion Glasses 2 suggest the company may be preparing for a broader product launch. These augmented or virtual reality glasses appear to be an upgrade over previous versions, potentially designed to pair with the Go S to offer a more immersive experience. This simultaneous leak hints at an upcoming Legion event, where Lenovo could officially unveil both products.

With more details expected soon, the Legion Go S and Legion Glasses 2 are shaping up to offer exciting options for gaming and XR enthusiasts.
