DURBAN – Pakistan’s fast bowler Shaheen Afridi has reached a significant milestone by claiming his 100th wicket in T20 Internationals during the first T20 match against South Africa in Durban. With this achievement, Shaheen becomes the third Pakistani cricketer to reach 100 wickets in men’s T20 Internationals.

In addition to this achievement, Shaheen also made history by becoming the first Pakistani player to take 100 wickets across all three formats of international cricket. He has now claimed 112 wickets in ODI cricket and 116 wickets in Test cricket.
Shaheen’s remarkable feat follows the achievement of fellow Pakistani cricketers Haris Rauf and Shadab Khan, who have also crossed the 100-wicket mark in T20 Internationals.
